"It must work...shark fishing for the first time, we had a shark hooked and to the side of the boat, however we failed to land it, as it broke off at the side of the boat. So, how's it work? Just hook the Mako Magnet up to your 12-volt boat battery, place the transducer in the water and it's automatically activated - what could be simpler? The device is now emitting a rich tone, while acoustically vibrating the water in a 360-degree pattern. You are now being heard a minimum of one mile under water. The rocking motion of the ocean further activates additional circuitry within the Mako Magnet and breaks up the tone by adding an intermittent harmonic. Game fish interpret the sound as an invitation to a slow-moving, wounded meal. That means a greater selection of game fish caught! Since the Mako Magnet emulates baitfish, it should be caged, or it will be eaten. The Mako Magnet can also be mounted in the bottom of your boat.
